Purpose
The purpose of our youth ministry is to disciple to youth and ensure they are anchored in their faith in Christ. Our desire is for our youth to be prepared when launched into this culture to stay well-anchored in their faith by knowing what they believe and how they believe it.
What to Expect
Every Sunday from 5:00 to 6:30, the youth will have the opportunity to meet and connect with each other and connect with God through the study of His word. The first 45-minutes is game time and the next 45-minutes is Anchor Time.
Areas of Focus
Each week during Anchor Time, we will focus on one of the following four areas. The topics next to each focus show some of the many different areas we may focus on.
The Bible: How did we get the Bible? Are there inconsistencies in the Bible? Why we can trust the Bible. How do you study the Bible?
To Love God Rightly: Who is God? What are the characteristics and traits of God?
To Love Self Rightly: Who are we? Are we inherently good? What is sin?
To Love Others Rightly: How to serve others. How do I share the Gospel? How to set healthy boundaries.
