Basketball

Our sports teach the fundamentals of the sport while aiming to teach good sportsmanship using Biblical principles. 

Upward Basketball is a unique experience for children of all skill levels. First and foremost, we are a ministry that aims to provide children with a Christ-centered sports opportunity. All participants will be taught sports skills and values while being provided equal playing time. Great Neck Baptist Upward Basketball features one hour-long weeknight practice and one Saturday game per week.

Early registration opens on September 15 and will close on September 30. After early registration, there is a price increase. Regular registration will end on October 31.

Basketball

1st Grade: Co-ed

2nd-3rd: Co-ed

4th-6th Grade: Boys

4th-6th Grade: Girls

7th-12th Grade: Girls (This division will be split up as necessary, depending on the number of registrations in each grade).

7th-10th Grade: Boys (or up to age 16)

Evaluations will take place in November with practices beginning in December. The first game is January 11, 2025.
